Rebuilding and expansion of an early 20th century house for use as a B&B

This unusual project required saving the historic original structure while updating and converting it for modern living as a Bed and Breakfast. The project included a very tight deadline, and through great cooperation with the contractor, we completed design and construction in nine months. The original structure was converted into four guest suites, each with its own bathroom, and a common sitting/ dining room. Two wings were added, more than doubling the size of the home. These wings include the owner's quarters, a garage and art studio, and the B&B kitchen and office.
